The Department of Civil Engineering, Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), is going to organize the 8th International Conference on Advances in Civil Engineering (ICACE) during 10-12 December 2026, which is regularly organized in alternate years.
Inspired by the success of the previous events of ICACE (in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024), we are committed to upholding the excellence of ICACE-2026. This conference aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, and graduates of different branches of civil engineering for exchange of ideas and discussion on the state-of-the-art research and future trends of civil engineering. The ICACE-2026 promises to be an outstanding international platform for the participants to share their knowledge and expertise. This conference will also be a chance for the students in civil engineering discipline to be acquainted with new and advanced topics, which eventually will help them to increase academic earnings and get ideas of hands-on approaches for solving real-life civil engineering problems.
We look forward to meeting you in the ICACE-2026 at CUET, Bangladesh.

The conference participants are encouraged to submit papers over the full range of Civil Engineering discipline including but not limited to the following areas:
- Structural Engineering
- Geotechnical Engineering
- Transportation Engineering
- Water Resources Engineering
- Environmental Engineering
- Engineering Management
Selected papers from the conference will be published by Springer as a proceedings book volume. Springer will conduct quality checks on the accepted papers and only papers that pass these checks will be published.
Springer Nature does not charge any money for publication of Non-Open Access content. Abstracts/extended abstracts and short papers (less than 4 pages) are not considered for publication.
We are dedicated to maintaining the quality of ICACE - 2026 , motivated by the triumph of the past ICACE events (in 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024). The purpose of this conference is to bring together eminent scholars, researchers, and graduates from various civil engineering specialties to discuss and exchange views on cutting edge research and emerging trends in the field.
